Expands public records exemptions for trade secrets held by multiple state agencies including the Department of Health, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Department of Citrus, Space Florida, E911 Board, and county tourism promotion agencies

Updates statutory references to incorporate changes made to the definition of "trade secret" in s. 812.081, F.S., by CS/HB 55 across approximately 20 different Florida Statutes sections

Exempts from public meeting requirements any portion of Space Florida board meetings where trade secrets are discussed, with minutes and recordings from closed sessions remaining confidential

Establishes October 2, 2021 repeal date for most exemptions under the Open Government Sunset Review Act, requiring future legislative review to maintain the exemptions

Includes a public necessity statement finding that protection of trade secret financial information overrides Florida's open government policy to prevent competitive harm to businesses required to submit such information to public entities
