Prohibits licensed mental health professionals from performing conversion therapy on individuals under 18 years of age, including medical practitioners, osteopathic practitioners, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and licensed counselors

Defines conversion therapy as any practice aimed at changing a person's sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or reducing same-gender attraction

Exempts counseling that supports gender transition or provides acceptance and identity exploration without the goal of changing sexual orientation or gender identity

Classifies violations as unprofessional conduct subject to disciplinary proceedings by the Florida Department of Health and relevant regulatory boards
