School districts must adopt and review bullying and harassment policies at least every 3 years, with policies conforming to the Department of Education's model policy.

Each school principal must implement the bullying and harassment policy on an ongoing basis throughout the school year and integrate it with the school's curriculum, bullying prevention and intervention program, discipline policies, and violence prevention efforts.

District policies must include a procedure for receiving anonymous reports of alleged bullying and harassment, though formal disciplinary action cannot be based solely on anonymous reports.

Policies must include a list of authorized programs that provide instruction to students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff on identifying, preventing, and responding to bullying and harassment.

The act designates Chapter 2010-217, Laws of Florida, as "Taylor's Law for Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention" and becomes effective July 1, 2016.
