Creates a student loan assistance program administered by the Justice Administrative Commission (for assistant state attorneys and public defenders) and the Office of the Attorney General (for assistant attorneys general and statewide prosecutors)

Eligible career attorneys must have completed 3-12 years of continuous service and have eligible student loans issued under the Higher Education Act of 1965

Provides maximum annual payments of $3,000 for attorneys with 3-6 years of service and $5,000 for those with 6-12 years of service, with payments prorated equally if appropriated funds are insufficient

Payments made between July 1-31 annually to the loan lender with the highest interest rate, ceasing when total payments reach $44,000 per attorney or the loan is fully satisfied, whichever occurs first

Program funding requires specific appropriation in the General Appropriations Act and takes effect July 1, 2016
