Health insurers, prepaid limited health service organizations, and health maintenance organizations are prohibited from requiring ophthalmologists or optometrists to join a network solely to credential them for another vision network

Vision care providers (ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians) cannot be restricted to specific suppliers of materials or optical laboratories by insurers or health organizations

Online vision care network provider directories must be updated monthly to reflect currently participating providers

Knowing violations of the network credentialing or supplier restriction prohibitions constitute unfair insurance trade practices under s. 626.9541(1)(d)
