Creates section 456.0315, Florida Statutes, requiring physicians and health care practitioners licensed under chapters 458 and 459 to complete a 1-hour continuing education course on human trafficking as part of every third biennial relicensure or recertification.

Course content must cover labor and sex trafficking extent, victim identification indicators, patient safety and security, medical record management for trafficking victims, public and private social services referrals, National Human Trafficking Resource Center and Department of Homeland Security hotlines, validated assessment tools, information sharing procedures, and legal and social service referral options.

Permits boards to approve equivalent alternative courses and allows the 1-hour requirement to count toward total biennial continuing education hours unless the profession requires fewer than 30 hours biennially.

Persons holding multiple licenses subject to this requirement may submit proof of completing one board-approved human trafficking course for relicensure of all their licenses.

Failure to complete the required course constitutes grounds for disciplinary action under chapters 458 or 459, and the licensee must complete the course in addition to any board discipline imposed.
