Amends Florida Statute 901.15(5) to permit law enforcement officers to arrest drivers for traffic violations without a warrant based on information relayed by first responders at traffic crash scenes

Expands existing warrantless arrest authority to include cases where officers receive information from first responders (in addition to fellow officers on the ground or in the air) about chapter 316 violations

Requires reasonable and proper identification of the vehicle and the violation to be communicated to the arresting officer before arrest can be made

Effective date is July 1, 2016
