Accepted electronic submission methods include e-mail submission in portable document format, submission through electronic fill-in forms on the building department's website, or submission through third-party submission management software

Payments, attachments, and drawings required as part of permit applications may be submitted in person in nonelectronic format at the discretion of the building official

The act takes effect October 1, 2017
