Amends Florida Statutes section 768.28 to extend sovereign immunity protections to members of child protection teams as defined in section 39.01 when carrying out their official duties.

Child protection team members cannot be held personally liable in tort actions for injuries or damages resulting from acts or omissions within the scope of their employment, unless they acted in bad faith or with malicious purpose or wanton and willful disregard of human rights, safety, or property.

Adds child protection team members to the existing definition of "officer, employee, or agent" eligible for immunity protections, alongside health care providers, nonprofit medical schools, and public defenders.

Effective date is July 1, 2016.
