Creates section 48.092, F.S. requiring service of process on financial institutions to comply with section 655.0201, F.S.

Allows financial institutions authorized to do business in Florida to designate a single location or registered agent with the Department of State as the exclusive place for service of process, notice, levy, and demand.

Requires designated service locations to be open and available during business hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time, Monday through Friday, excluding federal and state holidays.

Permits alternative service to any officer, director, or business agent at the institution's principal place of business or other branch offices if the institution has no registered agent, service cannot be made at the designated location, or the Office of Financial Regulation is making service.

Effective date: January 1, 2017.
