Creates section 790.2335, Florida Statutes to exempt records containing identifying data of respondents, petitioners, or recipients of firearms relinquished pursuant to domestic violence, stalking, or cyberstalking injunctions from public disclosure under Florida public records law.

Exempts firearm identifying information including make, model, caliber, serial number, and other identifying data that are required, authorized, or maintained under injunction statutes sections 741.30(6)(g) or 784.0485(6)(e).

Provides that the exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and shall stand repealed on October 2, 2021, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature.

Establishes public necessity findings that disclosure could expose domestic violence victims to public humiliation and allow abusers to locate victims, and could encourage theft of relinquished firearms and their use in future crimes.

Takes effect contingent on HB 925 or similar legislation relating to relinquishing firearms pursuant to protective injunctions taking effect in the same legislative session and becoming law.
