Deletes the exclusion from the definition of "convenience business" for businesses where the owner or family members work between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Reduces the required cash notice amount from $100 to $50 or less at convenience business entrances.

Exempts convenience businesses where the owner or immediate family members work between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. from security device and training requirements.

Eliminates the $100 administrative fee for submitting and reapproving robbery deterrence and safety training curricula to the Attorney General.

Deletes obsolete provisions requiring training for existing retail employees within 6 months of April 8, 1992.

Effective date: May 1, 2016.
