Elevates the criminal penalty for possessing a firearm or ammunition while subject to a domestic violence, stalking, or cyberstalking injunction from a first-degree misdemeanor to a felony.

Exempts active law enforcement officers with current certifications from firearm possession restrictions when performing official duties, unless prohibited by their employing agency.

Authorizes law enforcement officers to temporarily remove firearms from domestic violence scenes when they have probable cause that domestic violence occurred and the firearm is in plain view or discovered during a lawful search.

Requires law enforcement to provide firearm owners with information on the process for retrieving removed firearms and to store them safely during pending domestic violence proceedings.

Allows firearm owners to reclaim their weapons within 14 days after conclusion of a domestic violence proceeding, unless a court orders surrender of the firearm.
