Creates Section 810.146 of Florida Statutes prohibiting sexual predators from using or operating drones to view or record images of minors at their homes, businesses, schools, child care facilities, parks, playgrounds, or other places where children congregate.

Applies to sexual predators convicted of or pleading to qualifying offenses including kidnapping, sexual battery, lewd or lascivious acts, child abuse, human trafficking, and similar crimes when the victim was a minor.

Establishes violation as a third-degree felony punishable under Florida's sentencing guidelines (Sections 775.082, 775.083, or 775.084).

Amends the Criminal Punishment Code to assign Section 810.146 a Level 7 offense severity ranking for drone use violations.

Takes effect October 1, 2016.
