HB 1311 - Postsecondary Education Fees

• State universities must waive financial aid fees and technology fees for qualifying graduate students
• Fee waivers also apply to security, access, or identification card fees
• Fees and fines for facility/equipment use, late returns, and loss or damage must be waived
• Eligibility requires a 0.25 or greater full-time equivalent appointment as a graduate assistant, research assistant, teaching assistant, research associate, or teaching associate
• Effective date: July 1, 2016
