Foreign insurers must hold a valid certificate of authority in their home state and offer policies that comply with their home state's laws

Requires foreign insurers to file annual reports with Florida's Office of Insurance Regulation detailing products sold, counties served, number of individuals covered, and total premiums collected

Applications and policies must include a conspicuous 12-point boldfaced disclosure stating the product is governed by another state's laws and is not subject to Florida insurance regulations

Foreign insurers must establish a grievance procedure for Florida residents who purchase these policies; effective date July 1, 2016
