CS/HB 4065 Summary

• Removes the requirement that the Auditor General notify the Legislative Auditing Committee about financial or operational audit reports of state universities and Florida College System institutions that indicate failure to take corrective action

• Eliminates the Legislative Auditing Committee's duties to direct these institutions to provide written statements or appear before the committee regarding failed corrective actions on audit recommendations

• Repeals provisions requiring the committee's input related to the website of the Executive Office of the Governor in section 215.985

• Corrects a cross-reference in section 1002.395 regarding the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program audit requirements, changing reference from s. 11.45(2)(j) to s. 11.45(2)(k)

• Takes effect July 1, 2016
