HB 7051 Summary

• Removes duplicative, redundant, or unused rulemaking authority from six Florida statutes pursuant to legislative directive in section 11.242(5)(j), Florida Statutes

• Amends section 487.064 to allow the department to establish antisiphon device requirements and pesticide mixing-loading site requirements by rule

• Amends section 487.071 to allow the department to establish fee schedules for pesticide sample analysis by rule, capped at $400 per test

• Removes rulemaking authority from sections 570.921 (Environmental Stewardship Certification Program), 573.1201 (Certificates of exemption), 583.181 (Poultry disposal), and 593.107 (Cotton regulation) by striking "by rule" language

• Becomes effective 60 days after adjournment sine die of the legislative session in which it is enacted
