Expands public records exemption to make all information in videotaped statements of minors alleged to be or who are victims of sexual battery, lewd acts, or sexual misconduct confidential and exempt from public disclosure when held by law enforcement agencies.

Prohibits public employees or officers from willfully and knowingly disclosing videotaped information revealing a minor victim's identity to anyone except those assisting in investigation/prosecution, the defendant, defendant's attorney, or court-authorized persons; violation is a first-degree misdemeanor.

Protected information includes the minor's face, identity, contact numbers, addresses, school/church/employment name, and personal assets as defined in Florida Statutes sections 794.011, 847.003, 827.071, 847.012, 847.0125, 847.013, 847.0133, 847.0137, and 847.0145.

Exemption is subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and shall automatically repeal on October 2, 2021, unless the Legislature reenacts it before that date.

Effective date is contingent on HB 7055 or similar legislation taking effect in the same legislative session.
