• Creates court-ordered sealing procedures for records involving adjudication withheld on nonviolent misdemeanors or charges with no felony adjudication, with 3-year waiting period and $75 fee

• Establishes nonjudicial sealing process through the Department of Law Enforcement for records with no charges filed, dismissed charges, or acquittals with unlimited sealing opportunities per person

• Requires sworn statements from petitioners with criminal penalties for perjury and allows sealed/expunged records to be legally denied in most contexts except for criminal justice employment, bar admission, certain state agency employment, and firearm purchases

• Effective date July 1, 2016
