Ratifies the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was approved by both houses of Congress during the Second Session of the 92nd Congress and sent to states for ratification on March 22, 1972

Amendment text prohibits the United States or any state from denying or abridging equality of rights under the law on account of sex, with enforcement power granted to Congress through appropriate legislation

Notes that 35 of the necessary 38 states have already ratified the amendment, and declares constitutional equality for men and women continues to be timely in the United States and worldwide

Amendment becomes effective two years after the date of ratification

Directs the Florida Secretary of State to immediately forward certified copies of the resolution to the President, Congress, and federal officials
