Cerebral palsy is an incurable neurological condition affecting muscle control that occurs in approximately 1 out of every 330 births in the United States.

Causes include congenital conditions, brain injury before birth or during labor and delivery, abnormal brain development, infection, or head injury from accident or abuse.

Encourages Florida citizens to support continued research into treatment options and to understand and support individuals with cerebral palsy and their caregivers.
