Settlement agreement acknowledged potential jury damages of $1.95 million; the Division of Risk Management already paid $200,000 under statutory liability limits, with this bill covering the remaining $1.75 million

Payment will be reduced by any outstanding Medicaid liens related to Maudsley's medical care

Attorney fees, lobbying fees, and related costs are capped at 25% of the appropriated amount, and this payment represents final compensation for all claims related to this incident
