Creates Section 761.061 of Florida Statutes to protect churches, religious organizations, and certain individuals from being required to solemnize marriages or provide related services if doing so would violate their sincerely held religious beliefs.

Applies protection to churches or religious organizations, organizations supervised or controlled by religious entities, individuals employed by religious organizations acting within their scope of employment, and clergy members or ministers.

Prohibits civil or criminal lawsuits and governmental penalties, including denial of tax exemptions, governmental contracts, grants, or licenses, based on refusals protected under this statute.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
