Amends the definition of "trade secret" in Florida law to explicitly include financial information alongside scientific, technical, and commercial information.

Clarifies that trade secrets include any design, process, procedure, list of suppliers, list of customers, business code, or improvement thereof.

Establishes that theft, embezzlement, or unlawful copying of trade secrets is a felony of the third degree, punishable under Florida's felony sentencing guidelines.

Specifies that returning or intending to return stolen or copied trade secret articles is not a valid defense to criminal prosecution.

Reenacts related statutes (sections 581.199, 721.071, 812.035, and 815.04) to incorporate the expanded trade secret definition across confidential business information and intellectual property offense provisions.
