Allows persons permanently incapable of caring for themselves due to mental illness, intellectual disability, senility, or other physical or mental incapacity to be permanently excused from jury service upon request

Requires the request for permanent jury service exemption to be accompanied by a written statement from a licensed physician (under chapter 458 or 459)

Amends section 40.013, Florida Statutes, by adding a new subsection (9) and redesignating the existing subsection (9) as subsection (10)

Effective date of July 1, 2016
