Requires mammography reports provided to patients to include information about breast density based on the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System established by the American College of Radiology.

Mandates that mammography reports include a specific notice informing patients that dense breast tissue may hide abnormalities and that supplementary screening tests (ultrasound or MRI) may be beneficial based on individual risk factors.

Applies to accident or health insurance policies, group/blanket/franchise accident or health insurance policies, and health maintenance contracts issued or renewed in Florida.

Makes technical corrections to existing mammography coverage requirements, clarifying that coverage may be based on "recommendation of the patient's physician" rather than "physician's recommendation."

Takes effect October 1, 2016.
