Creates a public records exemption for home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of current or former emergency medical technicians or paramedics certified under chapter 401, Florida Statutes.

Extends the exemption to include names, home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and places of employment of spouses and children of such EMTs or paramedics, as well as names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children.

Requires emergency medical technicians or paramedics to have made reasonable efforts to protect such information from being publicly accessible through other means in order for the exemption to apply.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act, with the exemption set to expire on October 2, 2021, unless reviewed and reenacted by the Legislature.

Effective date is July 1, 2016.
