Creates section 943.1718, F.S. establishing statewide requirements for law enforcement agencies that authorize officers to wear body cameras.

Requires agencies with body camera programs to establish policies and procedures addressing proper use, maintenance, storage, and data handling, including guidelines for which officers may wear cameras and in which encounters.

Mandates training for all personnel who wear, use, maintain, store, or release body camera recordings in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

Requires body camera audio and video data retention in accordance with section 119.021 (public records retention requirements) and requires periodic agency reviews to ensure compliance with established policies.

Exempts body camera recordings from chapter 934, F.S. (security of communications and surveillance provisions).
