Service-level agreements between the state data center and customer entities may have an original term of up to 3 years, with the option to extend for up to 6 months

If the state data center extends an agreement or fails to execute a new agreement before expiration, it must submit a report to the Executive Office of the Governor explaining the issues and a plan to resolve them

Removes the requirement to notify the Agency for State Technology before terminating a service-level agreement for cause

Requires the state data center to plan, design, and conduct testing with information technology resources and implement cost-effective service enhancements within its scope of services

Effective date of July 1, 2016
