Creates a legal presumption that firefighters who develop multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, prostate cancer, or testicular cancer contracted the condition in the line of duty, entitling them to disability or death benefits

Firefighters must meet eligibility requirements including 5 continuous years of employment with current employer, no tobacco use for 5 years, and no other employment in the preceding 5 years proven to create higher cancer risk

Employing agencies must provide physical examinations for firefighters before or immediately after they begin service; failure to provide an exam does not disqualify the firefighter from the presumption

Presumption does not apply to life or disability insurance policy benefits unless specifically negotiated into the contract

Increases Florida Retirement System employer contribution rate for Special Risk Class by 0.01 percentage point to fund the benefit changes, effective July 1, 2016
