Authorizes Medicaid reimbursement to health access settings for remediable tasks performed by licensed dental hygienists under section 466.024(2)

Maintains existing Medicaid coverage for diagnostic, preventive, and corrective dental procedures including severe orthodontia for recipients under age 21 provided by or under supervision of a licensed dentist

Expands dental services coverage to include treatment of teeth, oral cavity structures, and disease or injury affecting oral or general health

Retains prohibition on Medicaid reimbursement for dental services in mobile units except for units operated by Department of Health, federally qualified health centers, dental educational institutions, or serving Medicaid recipients age 21 and older at nursing facilities

Takes effect July 1, 2016
