Expands protections for videotaped testimony and closed circuit television testimony to include adult victims of sexual battery, not just victims under age 16 or those with intellectual disabilities

Authorizes trial courts to order videotaping of testimony or use of closed circuit television when there is substantial likelihood the victim would suffer moderate emotional or mental harm from the defendant's presence

Allows the defendant to be required to view testimony from outside the victim's presence via two-way mirror or similar method, ensuring the victim cannot see or hear the defendant

Removes the age restriction from the definition of "sexual offense victim or witness," extending special protections to sexual offense victims of any age

Effective date of July 1, 2016
