Congratulates trainers J.B. McKathan and Kevin McKathan for their work with American Pharoah, which won the 2015 Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing.

Recognizes American Pharoah as the first Triple Crown winner since Florida's Affirmed in 1978 and the 12th horse overall to achieve the feat.

Notes that the McKathan Brothers Training Center in Citra provided early training for American Pharoah and has trained multiple Kentucky Derby winners including back-to-back champions in 1997 and 1998.

Acknowledges the McKathan brothers' decades of dedication to raising and training racehorses, maintaining Marion County's reputation as a prime area for quality thoroughbred racing.

Directs the Florida Senate to present an official copy of the resolution to J.B. McKathan and Kevin McKathan as recognition of their achievement.
