Creates section 570.077, Florida Statutes to exempt criminal or civil intelligence and investigative information held by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services from public records requirements when obtained as part of joint or multiagency investigations with other state or federal agencies, provided the information is confidential or exempt under those agencies' laws.

Allows the department to release such confidential information in furtherance of its official duties, to other governmental agencies for their official duties, and in accordance with conditions imposed by joint or multiagency agreements.

Exemption does not apply to information from independent examinations or investigations conducted solely by the department.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and provides for automatic repeal on October 2, 2021, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Takes effect upon becoming law only if SB 772 or similar legislation is adopted in the same legislative session and becomes law.
