Adds company employee adjusters to the persons authorized to provide sworn statements about liability insurance coverage in response to a claimant's written request.

Requires company employee adjusters providing the required statement to consult with the insurer's underwriting and claims departments to verify the information disclosed.

Changes language in section 627.4137, Florida Statutes from "any claim which might be made" to "a claim that might be made" and updates related phrasing for clarity.

Maintains the 30-day deadline for insurers to provide the required statement after receiving a written request from a claimant.

Effective date: July 1, 2016.
