Amends Florida Statute 901.15 to expand the circumstances under which law enforcement officers may make warrantless arrests for traffic violations

Allows officers to rely on information received from first responders at traffic crash scenes, in addition to fellow law enforcement officers, to make warrantless arrests

Applies to violations of Chapter 316 (Florida's traffic laws) when the first responder provides reasonable and proper identification of the vehicle and the violation

Effective date of July 1, 2016
