Authorizes Florida counties with populations of 1 million or more to establish maximum rates that taxi permit holders may charge taxi drivers to operate vehicles under those permits

Amends Section 125.01, Florida Statutes, which governs county powers and duties related to licensing and regulating taxis and other passenger vehicles for hire

Creates an exception to existing law (s. 125.0103) that otherwise limits county rate-setting authority

Effective date of July 1, 2016
