Replaces the Preliminary ACT (PLAN) test with ACT Aspire as one of the standardized assessment options for 10th grade students in Florida public high schools

Requires all public high schools, including Department of Juvenile Justice schools and alternative sites, to administer either the PSAT/NMSQT or ACT Aspire to all enrolled 10th grade students

Parents must receive written notice with the opportunity to exempt their child from taking the PSAT/NMSQT or ACT Aspire

School districts must choose either PSAT/NMSQT or ACT Aspire for districtwide administration, with funding contingent upon annual appropriations

Effective date of July 1, 2016
