Administrative Procedures Committee must submit recommendations to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House by March 1, 2017 on a process for periodic review of administrative rulemaking authority granted to state agencies.

Recommendations must outline a process similar to the Open Government Sunset Review Act (s. 119.15, Florida Statutes).

Process shall include provisions for expiration of rulemaking authority until reauthorization by the Legislature.

Effective upon becoming law.
