County and municipal park departments must provide partial or full discounts on park entrance fees to current military members, honorably discharged veterans, disabled veterans with service-connected disabilities, and surviving spouses and parents of military members who died in combat

Surviving spouses and parents of law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics who died in the line of duty are also eligible for park entrance fee discounts

Regional transportation authorities must provide partial or full fare discounts on fixed-route transportation systems to disabled veterans as described in s. 295.07(1)(a)

Park entrance fee discounts exclude amenities such as campgrounds, aquatic facilities, stadiums, facility rentals, special events, boat launching, golf, zoos, museums, gardens, and programs on public lands

Individuals must present satisfactory information evidencing eligibility to receive the discounts; effective date July 1, 2016
