Requires accident and health insurance policies in Florida to provide coverage for annual colorectal cancer screenings for insureds aged 50 years or older

Mandates health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and prepaid health plans to provide the same annual colorectal cancer screening coverage for subscribers aged 50 and older

Applies to all accident or health insurance policies and health maintenance contracts created or renewed on or after the effective date

Effective date of October 1, 2016
