Revises the definition of "convenience business" by removing the exemption for businesses where the owner or family members work between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Increases the cash register notice requirement from $50 or less to $100 or less at convenience business entrances.

Exempts convenience businesses where the owner or immediate family members work on premises between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. from all security device and training requirements.

Eliminates the $100 administrative fee for submitting proposed employee training curricula to the Attorney General and removes the biennial reapproval requirement with accompanying fees.

Effective date: May 1, 2016.
