Increases maximum age for victims and witnesses eligible for videotaped testimony and closed circuit television protection from 16 to 18 years old in sections 92.53 and 92.54.

Expands the definition of "sexual offense victim or witness" in section 92.55 to include persons under 18 (previously 16) when the sexual offense occurred.

Authorizes court-appointed advocates under section 914.17 to file protective order motions on behalf of certain victims and witnesses, in addition to parents, guardians, and attorneys.

Extends corroboration requirement waivers and evidence admissibility protections in section 794.022 to include human trafficking (section 787.06) and lewd or lascivious offenses (section 800.04), previously limited to sexual battery prosecutions.

Effective July 1, 2016.
