Prohibits removal or exemption from disqualification for child care employment if the person is registered as a sex offender under 42 U.S.C. § 9858f(c)(1)(c)

Prohibits exemptions for persons arrested for, found guilty of, or who entered guilty/nolo contendere pleas to felonies or misdemeanors covered under 42 U.S.C. § 9858f, § 435.03, or § 435.04, including those with unsealed or unexpunged juvenile delinquency records

Disqualifies such persons from child care employment regardless of any prior exemption that may have been granted

Requires persons employed by child care providers as of July 1, 2016 who received an exemption to undergo rescreening no later than August 1, 2016

Takes effect July 1, 2016
