When Medicaid, Medicare, or a regulated insurer asserts a lien or subrogation claim, the lien amount plus any copayments or deductibles paid by the claimant becomes the maximum recoverable amount

Applies only to personal injury or wrongful death actions arising on or after the act's effective date
