Removes requirements that the Auditor General notify the Legislative Auditing Committee about financial or operational audit reports from state universities or Florida College System institutions that fail to take corrective action.

Eliminates the committee's authority to direct state universities or Florida College System institutions to provide written statements or appear before the committee regarding failed corrective actions on audit recommendations.

Removes the committee's ability to refer matters concerning state universities or Florida College System institutions to the Board of Governors for non-compliance with audit recommendations.

Deletes the definition of "Committee" from the government spending transparency statute and repeals provisions requiring the committee to recommend additional information for the Executive Office of the Governor's website.

Repeals the committee's duties to coordinate with the Financial Management Information Board and submit annual reports regarding government spending website development and enhancement.
