Allows persons with a single conviction for driving under the influence (DUI) under section 316.193(1) to petition for sealing of criminal history records related to a subsequent offense.

Modifies eligibility requirements in section 943.059 to exclude a single DUI conviction from disqualifying someone from sealing records, both in petition requirements and certificate of eligibility requirements.

Applies the DUI conviction exclusion to both the petitioner's sworn statement and the department's certificate of eligibility issuance process.

Takes effect July 1, 2016.
