Law enforcement agencies must report alleged sexual offenses to the institution's Title IX coordinator within 10 days when both the alleged perpetrator and victim are students at the same Florida postsecondary institution

Sexual offense is defined according to the FBI's uniform crime reporting system classification, including both forcible and nonforcible offenses

All Florida College System institutions, state universities, and career centers must include sexual assault reporting information and victim resources in every course syllabus

Nonpublic colleges, universities, and schools are also required to include sexual assault reporting and resource information in all course syllabi
