Florida Muslim Capitol Day is an annual community event organized to educate Muslims about the state's political process and encourage political engagement and activism.

Approximately 523,000 Muslims (3 percent of Florida's population) reside in Florida's 67 counties, representing one of the most diverse Muslim populations globally with origins from more than 80 countries.

Brings hundreds of Muslim leaders, community members, and students from across the state to Tallahassee to meet with elected officials and inform them of their constituents' concerns.

Honors the Florida Muslim community's commitment to civic participation and their significant contributions to the state's democratic institutions and communities.
